B.Tech Robotics Engineering and Automation Engineering

Duration: Four Years | Full Time

Eligibility: Successfully completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subjects combined. Alternatively, candidates who have passed a minimum 3-year Diploma exam with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) can apply, subject to availability of vacancies in the First Year, after considering lateral entry vacancies.

  • Electrical Motors & Drives – This involves exploring a range of electrical motors and driver systems utilized for rotational and driving functions. Understanding the diverse types of AC and DC motors, as well as their applications, is essential.
  • Mechanics of Robotics – Mechanics of Robotic Manipulation delves into the dynamics of moving objects, covering processes like grasping, carrying, pushing, dropping, and throwing.
  • Automatic Control Systems – Automatic control systems involve studying controllers, stability criteria in both time and frequency domains, as well as simulation, analysis, and mathematical modeling of diverse systems.
  • Robotics & Robot Programming – Robotic programming involves specifying application commands for automation. On the other hand, Robotics deals with techniques like forward and backward kinematics.
